Black Friday Will be Here Soon, Start Planning Your Shopping Trip Now!

I know November just started, but we must start thinking about Christmas shopping now...Black Friday is just around the corner!

I love the excitement of Black Friday. I get up early, get a coffee, and hit the stores with somewhat of a plan. Having a plan is so important to a successful Black Friday shopping day, that's why I'm happy to share with you this sponsored post from Find&Save. Find&Save is a great site to browse sales in your area, and help you prepare for Black Friday.

I'm an Early Bird shopper. I wish I could be one of those Night Owls that is out before 5 AM, because they get a lot more shopping done, but I value my sleep too much. So, I have to do everything I can to make my shopping plans go as smooth as possible.

I usually throw together some kind of plan of where I'm going, but it's not a super organized plan. So, I'm usually telling hubby, "um, there was something I wanted to get at this store." And, then I struggle to remember what it was, or I ruffle through store flyers to try to find it. Okay, so I admit my usual "plan" is more of a theory than an actual strategy.

But, this year will be different!

With Find&Save I can make a shopping list & map out the stores on my list to make the most of my time. It's easy to browse for deals, or search for a particular brand or item and then save it to a shopping list. That means no more forgetting what store had what. Sweet, that means a few more winks for me! And, hopefully, some more completed shopping lists.

This Black Friday survey is really interesting. It shows the differences between those people that are out before 5AM (Night Owls) and the Early Birds that get out after 5, (that's me.) Apparently, it's worth it to get out earlier because the Night Owls get more of their shopping completed (63% get more than half done on Black Friday.) It also shows how much time most of spend putting together our Black Friday plan.
I think along with using Find &Save to help me plan, I'm also going to start planning a little earlier this year, and who knows maybe I really will get up earlier this year. Heck with the new trend of stores opening up at midnight on Thanksgiving, maybe I'll just stay up and become one of those Night Owls!

So, what about you, what is your Black Friday shopping style? Are you a night owl, or an Early Bird?
