Monday Minute: Trophy Wife

Normally, I'd be whining about it being Monday, but I had such a crappy week last week, (at home sick for 3 days, and then the Disney Social Media Moms disappointment, more on that in a later post,) so, anyway after a crappy week, as much as I'd like for it to still be the weekend, I'm happy to be getting a fresh start to a new week.

Before I move on to the Monday Minute, I have to say how much inspiration I found in the movie "Eat Pray Love." This woman gives up everything she knows to set out on a quest to find herself, again. Along the way, she not only helps herself but she helps others, too. My favorite quote from the movie: "ruin is the road to transformation"  It makes me think about the hardest time is life the ones you think you'll never make it through, but you do. And you come out a new and better person for it. So, as I start a fresh new week I am keeping that fresh in my mind, so no matter what happens, I know it will change me for the better.

(1) Who would play you in a movie? Wow! that's so hard! Maybe, Isla Fisher. She's cute, has red hair, and is not too skinny, so I pick her.

(2) Are you a good speller? Yes, and I got a certificate in third grade to prove it.

(3) Have you/ do you smoke cigarettes? I smoked some in high school, and on a few occasions I had a cigarette but it's been at least 6 years since then. In total I've maybe smoked 2 packs in my life and of course, I never inhaled.
(4) Have you ever won a trophy? For years we lugged around a box full of trophies. After many years of playing softball, and playing bass in the orchestra, this was a very heavy box. Every where we moved, the box came with us. Then one day, we moved, and I just didn't take it with us. You're not going to demand proof of these trophies are you?! Damn, I knew this would happen! As soon as I get rid of something, that's when I'm gonna need it!

(5) Have you ever written (or started to write) a book? I've started so many times it's ridiculous! Someday, I'll finish and then I'll buy myself a trophy to commemorate the moment. :o)
